International Volunteer Opportunities

If you can donate your time for one week or more in any of our core program countries, Tanzania, Greece or Turkey, not only would it be a potentially life changing experience and very humbling one, but you will be making an immediate impact & difference to the lives you touch.

We have international volunteer opportunities in the following areas:

  • Nyarugusu Refugee Camp and Kabanga Albino Protection Centre – Tanzania, E. Africa.
  • Refugee community centres – Greece, Lesvos
  • Emergency aid distributions – Greece, Athens, Lesvos
  • “Back to school” child identification – Turkey, Istanbul, Izmir

Depending on your skills and experience we would ask for duties such as the distribution of aid, identifying persons with special needs, identifying long term solutions, beach rescues, teaching, driving, liaising/collaborating with other organisations on the ground, and other various roles.

Local Volunteer Opportunities

If you live in Spain, on the Costa del Sol, and you would like to offer your help with our homeless distributions, we provide hot meals on a Monday and cold meals on a Thursday at the Lux Mundi building in Fuengirola 2-3 times a month. The hours are 12-2.30pm, and we also manage the clothes boutique so they are open to receive any clothes donations you have also.  Please go to our “Contact Us” page and on the contact form put the subject “Homeless”, please also give your telephone number so we can add you to our Whatsapp group, which gives regular updates of when our distributions are taking place.

Just a calling to help?

Irrelevant of where you are based in the world, if you have had a calling to help and have a couple of spare hours in a week to donate to a good cause then we would also love to hear from you.  There are so many areas you can help, so we would love to have a chat and offer some suggestions on where you feel most comfortable lending a hand. However big or small the contribution, it´s all about coming together as a collective to make positive change.
