It is really encouraging to see how the team has expanded and the vital work being carried out.
1697 people have so far been identified as having a disability, this identification process requires lots of walking, family to family, tent to tent, and these figures are unique as the census being carried out is the first of it’s kind.
Over the course of the next few days we will be taken to the most vulnerable of persons who have been identified, to learn more about the challenges they face and how we can bring vital support to them.
Our mission here in Tanzania, is to empower and help bring dignity back the lives of persons with disabilities.
