We are excited to be starting our “Inspiring Futures” program very soon, which aims to Inspire, Equip and Transform the lives of those participating in the program. The program is a 9 week course which helps with self-confidence, identification of skills and gifts, IT skills, CV writing and communication skills. At the end of the program, through partnerships with local businesses, a work experience placement is offered. The course shall host 60 participants throughout the year, who have been identified through an interview process with individuals who have been a beneficiary of the Collective Calling food assistance program. Our mission through the “Inspiring Futures” program is to help people back into a place of self-sustainability. See below for more details on this program:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

En el segundo trimestre de 2020, la tasa de desempleo de Espa\u00f1a aument\u00f3 hasta el 15,33% debido a la crisis de COVID-19. Muchas personas perdieron sus empleos y como consecuencia aument\u00f3 la inseguridad alimentaria. En 2018, El Instituto Nacional de Estad\u00edstica de Espa\u00f1a inform\u00f3 que el 26,1% de las personas estaba en riesgo de exclusi\u00f3n social y el 5,4% experimentaba privaci\u00f3n material severa. En ese mismo a\u00f1o, el 55,2% de las personas ten\u00eda dificultades severas y estaba en riesgo extremo de quedarse sin cubrir las necesidades humanas b\u00e1sicas. Estas cifras s\u00f3lo representan a la poblaci\u00f3n adulta y, obviamente, los ni\u00f1os no est\u00e1n excluidos del alcance de la pobreza. Espa\u00f1a sigue teniendo la mayor tasa de desempleo de toda Europa y \u00e9sta es la principal causa de los abrumadores niveles de pobreza a los que se enfrenta el pa\u00eds.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

La crisis de Covid-19 ha afectado a todos los seres humanos del planeta en alguna medida y las familias que ya experimentaban niveles de pobreza antes de la pandemia, se enfrentan ahora a graves retos de supervivencia.<\/p>\n

Collective Calling\u2019s approach to economic empowerment helps to inspire, equip and transform those who have been identified to be within the \u201cred zone\u201d of critical challenges surrounding poverty.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Con el sistema de asistencia social desbordada, y otras organizaciones ben\u00e9ficas como la Cruz Roja y C\u00e1ritas al l\u00edmite de su capacidad, miles y miles de familias siguen sin la ayuda b\u00e1sica que necesitan. Todo esto conduce al ciclo continuo de la pobreza generacional, es decir, padres que son incapaces de mejorar su situaci\u00f3n, conducen irremediablemente a sus hijos a la misma pobreza.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Desgraciadamente, muchas personas han desarrollado una visi\u00f3n de s\u00ed mismas que est\u00e1 arraigada en sentimientos de impotencia, desesperanza y falta de autoestima. Utilizamos una metodolog\u00eda probada y demostrada que ayuda a las personas a reconocer su potencial y a ser todo aquello para lo que Dios las ha creado. Los padres que hemos detectado que viven en una situaci\u00f3n de pobreza se inscriben en nuestro programa de empoderamiento, que no s\u00f3lo est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para ayudar a preparar a las personas a reincorporarse, o a entrar en el lugar de trabajo por primera vez, sino que tambi\u00e9n les ofrece las herramientas necesarias para hacer frente emocionalmente a situaciones de estr\u00e9s, inculca la confianza y la autoestima, y establece objetivos personales y financieros para un futuro que Dios quiso que todos tuvi\u00e9ramos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On completion of the course<\/strong><\/em>, each person will be given a Certificate and personal reference from Collective Calling for future employers. Further vocational skills are then offered such as language courses and apprenticeships in certain job sectors. \u00a0Although not guaranteed, the aim of the course is to get everyone employed.<\/p>\n

The course itself is designed to recognise individual gifts and talents, and when the course is finished, Collective Calling are also there to develop these gifts, whether that be in creative arts and design, entrepreneurship, hospitality, marketing, all to name but a few, the help doesn\u2019t stop when the course does.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
