One of the ways we help support our homeless friends here in Spain, is helping with paperwork issues, passports and other bureaucratic challenges.
Many people who have found themselves homeless, once arrived in Spain with dreams of a better life, only to find themselves in unfortunate circumstances which resulted in homelessness.
Through our experience of coming alongside our homeless friends, it is very difficult to return home, or navigate back through the system to attain what is needed officially to try and get out of the situation of homelessness.
We were so excited to have received the passport for one of our homeless friends today, thanks to your support Collective Calling did what was necessary financially and administratively to attain a renewed passport for him.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support our efforts, collectively, we are making a difference…

  • Humble Hero

    Humble Hero

Now and then, you come across one of those humble heroes who has been quietly trying to support himself and those around him with minimum resources available. That is what Agaton has been doing for most of his life, whose younger brother was rescued from the street and is currently being cared for in the Centre of Hope. Agaton has a mobility disability that prevents him from doing various kinds of work, but he set up a small fresh meat stall close to where he lives. Day in and day out, Agaton not only supports himself from the sales of his business, but he also cooks for his family and others for free who cannot afford to eat.

When we met Agaton and learned more about his situation, we discovered that a small boost to his business would enable him to expand and better care for his family.

Agaton continues to cook meat for his local community, whilst providing for the most vulnerable around him.
