Although hard to track, the number of homeless people increases each year, with few countries being an exception to that. The United Nations has documented that there are around 1.6 billion people residing in poor housing worldwide, with around 15 million being forcibly evicted each year.

According to UN sources there are up to 150 million street children in the world today – who, for one reason or another, spend most of their lives on the streets.

Collective Calling is on a mission to rescue, restore, and reintegrate street-connected children in Tanzania. Through our Centre of Hope and Transitional House, we provide a safe haven where children receive not only food, shelter, and education, but also trauma care and spiritual guidance. Our heart beats for family reunification—working closely with social workers and caregivers to rebuild broken homes and empower families to thrive together. Every child deserves to know they are loved, valued, and created with a purpose.
