    MAMBO FROM KASULU

Pictured in the middle of this photo is the Chaplain, Ayubu Pius, at the Centre of Hope – We would like to say a big ASANTE SANA! (Thank you so much!) to this man for his dedicated time and hours, love and commitment he has for these children. He has bought so much healing to their souls through the love of Jesus, he goes above and beyond the call of duty, he teaches them songs and loves to dance! The children all love him so much.
He has also just bought a baby girl in to the world so a big congratulations to him and his family also. We love you and thank you Ayubu for your hard work and dedication to these precious souls!

Our food assistance program offers support to low income families and the homeless community. Every month more than 2,400kg of dried food items are distributed, alongside fresh food items donated by ALDI.
Thank you to everyone who supports our food assistance program, volunteers and donors, please be encouraged that lives are being touched, neighbours are being loved and families are being supported thanks to you!

    CC Food Bank

We welcome donations of food items as Collective Calling continue to provide food assistance on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to local families and the homeless community. Since the pandemic started Collective Calling have distributed over 20metric tons of dried food items, 13 metric tons of fresh food items and helped provide over 30,000 prepared meals.
More than a year later since the pandemic started, we continue to see more and more families reaching out and asking for help. The problem is that financial support is not reaching the people. Many locals have applied for the guaranteed minimum income as late as August last year to try to make ends meet. “I still haven’t heard back,” one person says. A total of 93.2% of the families helped by Collective Calling have not received the guaranteed minimum income after applying for it. But there has also been a sizeable contingent who never applied due to lack of information. According to a report, 67% said they did not have enough information to request the financial aid.
If you have a calling to help through this time then please reach out to us.

    Home Visits

Part of the family reunification process for street children is “home visits”. This is when the children who are currently being cared for in the “Centre of Hope” have the chance to go home and visit their family.
The reason why most children go to the street is due to poverty and this is why we are tackling the root causes of poverty, helping to empower families and helping to create a conducive environment for their children to thrive in.
Collective Calling have been helping to rescue, rehabilitate and reintegrate street children for the past 3 years and we are excited to see the fruit to come. Thank you to everyone who supports this project and continues to shower love on some very precious children in Tanzania 🇹🇿
